Sorry, even from these photos it is clear that it is not original, notice how thick it is in the middle and the taper, this is a common repro.

Yes. Avoid the RK it's been dropped etc to make it look old. You could buy a very nice cheap filler along this lines that doesn't look like it's been in the bottom of a toy box. Is the KvK I yours?
