          Has the swastika been removed or just covered by the fabric? Here is a cousin to yours with a cloth core wrapping:

              Here is another with the back plate missing and thread holding the whole thing together... I wonder why...

              I'm not trying to hijack this thread, I just find the similar treatments interesting... same POW camp?????

                  Thanks! If there is an "1813" on the six o'clock arm of back of the core then it is from an EK2, otherwise an EK1... Nice piece, I love this kind of thing...
