German Cross in Gold Opinions Please

Hi Guys

Recently a local gentleman purchased this cross at an estate sale. As he does not have easy access to a computer he asked me if I would post this for him for critique. I am no expert in these, generally one comes in about every two years or so and I do not have the book on the DKIG in my library. One of the main reasons for concern is that in the grouping of items he purchased were some fairly obivious copies of other medals and badges.

Your opinions and comments would be most welcome and appreciated, thanks in advance

The last image is of a corner of my war-room with my Pal Sammy the cat in his favorite spot.

This is not comparable to known original Juncker German Crosses. The rivits are all wrong as is the shape of the pin.

Thanks Bob, Dietrich, Tony & Tom, my suspicions were confirmed.... bad news for my friend, although he did purchase some very nice items with the rest of the pile, so it should work out OK for him.
