    Shell back disc on E-Stand??

    Hi all,

Could I have opinions please . I suspect it is a"Floch" shell back.

Thank you for opening the discussion. I am more imperial than TR collector, but I posted this one quite sure this is original Deumer plate and from reference photos I am adding, it is far from Floch. Compare mainly the edges, that are smooth on Floch, but raised on my piece. Floch misses the "nipple" on the back as well.

I was just informed that EK1 39/14 Deumer shellback and WHS one doesn´t fit, so here are dimensions and weight I was asked for to determine, if it is EK piece or WHS one.

    Weight: 8,6 grams
    Overall diameter: 39,68 mm
Diameter of the screw: 3,9 mm

    Best, Miro

          .

          Hi,
Now I am totally confused on these shell backs by Deumer.

I have a 1939 EKI with the shell back on the right hand side. Which is a 2.89 diameter thread and 7.54 long.
This shellback also fits my Spange.

The disc on the left hand side is from a "Flock " merit cross with swords, it appears the discussion would put this disc as genuine ?? It's thread is 3.84 diameter and 5.13 long.

I have read the pinned thread and still place the left hand disc as fake.

          Cheers
          Russell

It is always hard to say, especially because Floch used a lot of original parts for his fakes....
