No, it has not been repainted on either the front or reverse, IMO. And, yes, it's an original Deumer.

A nice early LDO example without the box around the L/11 maker mark, this cross has held up quite nice with beautiful frosting!

Indeed very nice ! I believe the absence of a box around the L/11 denotes an earlier cross. Correct me if I am wrong
