    Producers of the 1957 awards?

What producers made the 1957 awards? Steinhauer & luck, Deumer, Souval and Otto Schickle is not a secret. Assman? Deschler?

    Thanks.

Are we talking about 57 RK's or 57 awards in general?

Assmann for sure. He manufactured the Glider Pilot badge that I am seeking.

          Hi Peter,

I have both 1957 issue Tank Destruction Badges (gold and silver) and both have an 'A' on the reverse of the presentation packet.

This may mean 'Assmann' but I really have no idea if this is so.

I also have a 1957 EKII by Deumer with maker mark '3' on the ring and the Deumer die flaw on the 12 o'clock arm that looks like a worm that reconciles with my 1939 EKII by Deumer.

From this I deduce that Deumer was making 1957 EKII awards too.

I'm currently awaiting a 1914 EKII made during 1933-1945 by Deumer ('3' on ring) and am hoping that this also has the die flaw. If so, it would make a nice group of three.

          Regards ...

Steinhauer and Luck have a website which features a military awards section...but they don't seem to answer their emails when you inquire about obtaining 1957 iron crosses or RK's.....

I tried emailing them some months ago and no reply.

No way to run a company.

                    A few weeks ago i saw a 1957 EK1 with the Assman "A". I saw another 1957 EK1 with a "KQ" ?
                    I know there are "3" marked 1957 EK2´s and "L/11" marked 1957 EK1´s.

                    Cheers.
                    Peter

I have one of those Deumers waiting at the Norwegian customs. My one is court mounted.

                          Cheers.

I have the impression that I once saw a 1957 paratrooper badge with the G.W.L. (Gebrüder Wegerhoff Lüdenscheid) markings at the back of the eagle. I've been trying to trace the picture, but could not find it.
