            Gian,

Compare with this one. The differences will be obvious.

A nice filler for say $200. I've never seen a genuine one with the mm on the suspension ring.

From these pictures i can`t see the left side die flaw ,the ribbon loop is not typical schickle but as we all know these were switched around. The L/15 stamp seems oversize but a side by side comparison with a known good one is needed and if the number 48.1 mm is the width of the cross it would seem undersize as 49mm is a typical schickle size but we know that size and weights vary and should not condem a piece but some time ago a schickle with a core type like this was discussed on the fourm. If i remember correctly Dietrich personally examined it and his opinion was pre 45. Maybe he can comment on this one.

I could have only inspected the cross during a show, either MAX or SOS. I always have my scanner with me and if I would have inspected it and thought it was good or interesting, I would have scans, weight, and dimensions in my files.

I don't and I don't recall that cross. I would have loved to have that on file with the Niemann expertise .... either way.

I also would see better pictures.

                    Hi Dietrich
I just did a search and the thread was "schickle RK with rare core version " . grueni1208 posted his cross that started the thread.the core pictures look very close to this cross.

But that cross from Grueni is not the same one that started this thread. I understodd that you meant I had the cross that started this thread in hands. I don't think I had.

Sorry for the confusion Dietrich .i should have typed a few more words to avoid a mix up in what i was trying to say. Without better close up pictures i would say this cross is a question mark.
