    EK II wideframe "WB"?

    Hi,
I have a wideframe EK II with "WB" stamp. I could not find any information on it... can you help me? (click to zoom)

A very nice unmarked '24' - Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Hanauer Plakettenhersteller.
These can also be found with various other stamps on the small ring.

    Regards - Danny

          Interesting cross.

Has anyone else seen a 24 marked with letters on the jumpring?
          Best regards,

Yes, quite common on these #24's. I have two with diff marks. If you search this forum I believe there is a thread about these diff. marks. Only found on the # 24 mm EK's. Tom

              Trevor,

I have personally had a few wide frame '24's, but the marks on the ring were not letters but 'symbols' of sorts. An acorn comes to mind on a couple I've owned.

                  Hi Trev

yes, a friend of mine here in Italy has a cross marked with WR on the jumpring.
I doubt this one has a WB than a WR but who knows as the mean is unknown..

I was asking specifically about letters, as Robert guessed. Tom, what letters are on your two? So far we have WR and/or WB, right?
                    Best regards,

I found another post with WR or WB: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...322#post704322

And I read/heard about markings cross, circle, square, an acorn, a half circle, a v or check mark (which might also be a part of a square), WR and W8, but the W8 and/or WR could also be WB...

On mine it's pretty clearly "WB", I took some more pics from different angles:

One of mine is a WB and the other is an acorn...and both are marked 24 on the ribbon ring. Tom

Another one with WR that could be WB: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...19#post2195619 - so maybe the WRs and W8s might all be WBs?

I have to agree, maybe the stamps are WB and WR.
