    EK II unmarked

    Hi,
I have another ummarked EK II, core is magnetic and loose (you can hear it move when you shake it). Can you tell me something about it? Do you know the maker? (click to zoom)

This looks to have Paulmann & Crone cores and ribbon ring, but S&L frame halves. Very odd.

In this thread... http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...Paulmann+Crone there is a cross in post #4 which has a Paulmann reverse core and something different than Paulmann & Crone frame halves.

Could it possibly be that these crosses are postwar 'put-togethers'?

    Robert

Edit: Here are a couple more, referred to as P&C variants...http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...Paulmann+Crone

I also got one - IMO it's P&C variation ( I have non magnetic one)

OK, I'm just not familiar with these. I've 'been out of the loop' for awhile.

Thanks, Robert and Michal. Nice to have a 'not so common' variant in great condition :-)
