Thanks Peter for posting such detailed photographs of Floch's reproductions. This will be of great help to those of us looking for original EK1s.

      Best Regards

        ihate to say it ...but,

after you buy your first fake Floch, youll know to spot the rest!! i know my second EK1 was afloch so ive kept it to learn from and a 100.00 dollar mistake has saved me several hundred later!

Great info on Floch. This will help many members here on the Forum. To bad I didn't know about this before I bought one of those L/14 Gold Wound Badges years ago. Oh well, lesson learned and I only lost $110 on the deal. At least this educational piece did not cost me big bucks!

            I once flew in a B-17, B-24, & a B-25. Next, I want to fire an 88 round.

Here is a gallery showing the look of a FLOCH EK1. The same type of hardware can be found on the FLOCH KVK.
I hope it can be of some help.

              Cheers.

                    Johannes Floch

Johannes Floch was an Austrian dealer in the 1970-80s he came over to England to visit the Arms Shows quite often, he used to bring a large amount of items over with him, as I remember he had quite a lot of original BeVo insignia, his iffy items were SS zinc skulls and matching eagles, close combat clasps, EKIs, lots of cap eagles in metal and a few high end fakes for high end dealers. Most of his stuff was sold normally before the show started to dealers only I think most of the so called good guys in the business were readily buying his items, I remember going to a show near Birmingham and seeing several dealers with the same items then I was introduced to Mr Floch and saw first hand what he was flogging. As he had an American wife I believe he decided to move to the States about 15-20 years ago

Is there an average weight for a Flock EK1?

I have seen a L/14 Silver Wound Badge here in New Zealand.

I suggest we add to the list.

                                Regards ...
