Zimmermann DKG opinions needed

Is this cross OK. It weighs 69.9 grams and is 6cm in dia. and 20 under the pin.

I like it. The weight and the lack of a catch plate would indicate that it's a 'heavy' Zimmermann.

I have seen this one, I was concerned about the dark colouring around the catch and think it may be a repair? Also has the same colour around the hinge and rivets?

I saw that as well Greg,

The new catch is a little wider than what Zimmermann used on their 'heavys'.

Very nice DK,I think the darkening is just from wear and increased pressure from the fabric at those points over time I've seen in on other medals.
