      Always difficult regarding engraved medals but I like the engraving on this one but I canĀ“t say if its period done.

        Well....it's different! I look forward to the more experienced thoughts here. I personally kind of like it - but that doesn't make it period/original.

            The engraving does seem to have some wear to it.Difficult area engraving,but I like this one myself,interested to know what others think.

                cross is an original Mayer and the gravur in my opinion could be original.
                also I find correct if unmarked on pin if awarded in Nov. 1942.
