      That's believable with the same even patina. I'm curious what others have said about it...? I like it despite the loooong pin.

      Now that I've read the link I feel very confident that it's the real deal. Congratulations!!!

                Some really great pieces posted here guys, maybe we should turn it into the "Unknown maker spange appreciation thread" so if you have em, post em, as these are truly attractive pieces.
                I have to admit, I've seen these stone mint, I believe Robert & Jim have a few in this condition, but I like to see them with a nice patina too, kinda brings out the detail..

                This is also an important thread to keep alive due to the discovery of a maker marked box. Although it is one of the first I've seen, it is a start to identification as I would like to see more than one example so that we can be 100% certain.
