Is this a "Schinkel" because of its small swastika and 1939 ?

        nope.

Schinkel has more narrow arms, do a search and you will see the difference.

But it's a nice original cross.

Don't mean to butt in here, but I thought this threesome would illustrate clearly the difference between a standard '39 Iron Cross and an early '39 Schinkel version. This is the Meybauer evolution from a 1914 EKII (left), a Meybauer Schinkel EKII (center), and a standard 1939 Meybauer EKII (right). Meybauer used their 1914 frame in their '39 Schinkel.
