I think the EK1 is this Polish fake....

I would hazard a guess that the obverse date numerals are unusually thin, and feature a round '3'...

Hi Hoffmann EK1 is a fake i have one exactly like it right down to the MM, (it looks scratched on to me) Mine is solid, with wrong style of date, and same type of pin and catch set up as yours. As for the other award I,m not 100%,
sure enough to say yes or no, although the shape of the reverse does look a little suspect. Hope other forum members give there feelings on the matter. Best regards.
