Lovely example. It's always best to hold out for the right one!

Yeah, thanks Rich. That is one of the last great lessons I've learned in this hobby.

Here is one more photo that shows the piece to good effect.

Patience is well needed in this hobby. I had my sights set for a Zimmermann, but after this I'm not so sure

Very nice photo and cross Trevor!

                Many thanks Thomas.

My feeling about DKs is that the pieces with the sculptured wreaths are the nicest. These include Deschlers, Godets and Junckers but not Zimmermanns or Kleins or S&Ls. It's a little detail that makes a big difference to my eye.

                            Some nice DKIG

Thanks to Trevor,Alex and Ron for sharing these pictures . I lke the how the Hakenkreuz tapers down from the center of the badge towards the wreath. Juncker DKIG's also share this trait; I havent noticed this so much on the other makers badges.

                              Hi guys,

Thanks for the very nice photos of your Godets

Along with the Deschler design, I think Godets are the best looking. And of course I would never own a Deschler...
                              Best regards,
