Opinions on my screw back IC1

I have had this cross for many many years ....
As you can see it's a screw back type with pin and shield with maker mark L/21.
This cross has lots of fine details and not particularly thick in thickness.
Its also magnetic and what seems to be an iron center too

    * But is it original and does it have a value *

    Kind Regards and thank you
    David

How could it have a value? As it's a fake... €10 maybe?

Its interesting in that the F where the beading on the 12 and 3 oclock arms meet is in the 3 and 6 oclock join position. Its very clear as an upside down F in the shot. Bummer.

There are very small x's in every inside corner. Also look at the '3' in the date. Both signs of a Floch fake.

Yes, but the beading in the circle on the bottom left makes a clear F, F for Flock. Its mostly seen in the 9 / 12 arm position, but in this example the F is upside down. We've had a few when its been in the 12/ 3 position with the F on its side with the two arms of the F pointing downwards. Just interesting to see as I'd never seen examples other than the 9/ 12 arms position with the F appearing thus, F. All uninteresting except that the last bead on the 9 oclock arm very neatly runs along the end of the first bead of the 12 oclock arm and into the bottom of the second bead without cutting across them such as you see in a cross hatch situation. Thus we get a very nice F. Its almost as if the maker left the Floch mark (F) in the frame.

                    Tony,

I think I see what you mean. All very interesting. I wish I still had a Floch EKII a Mannheim friend picked up for me from a street vendor years ago. The x's I'm referring to at the uttermost inside beading corners are very obvious when seen through a 10X or 20X loupe. I should have photographed it more when I had it.
