I picked up some rubbish this weekend at Brecon Military Fair but I am quite sure this salty old DKiG is a good one

I have always liked the look of these old salty dogs. You just know this was on a uniform worn in the field by the man who won this high award.

That's why I love these ones too,a good worn combat award must have been in the thick of it somewhere.

Not to take this off topic, but, I really don't see the hype about "mint, unissued" pieces. I would rather own a salty, dirty, somewhat damaged piece that I know was there. Just like this one. It just speaks history, where the "minty" pieces were on a store shelf, or in a drawer.
