so no one else has a response?
Is this spange very uncommon?
How many people here have one in their collection?Last edited by Mark Schroeder; 10-12-2004, 05:15 PM.

Mark,
Sorry I didn't get back to you via PM ( ) but I have been unable to find any information or other "L/16" Spangen to compare yours to. That fact indicates to me that these are indeed somewhat scarce. And while I can't positively come to a conclusion regarding the authenticity of yours (because I simply don't know), I think that the fact that no one else has had a negative response is in your favor. After all, oftentimes no "Nay" is really a Yay!"George

My interest was more of a curious nature than one of authenticity concerns. I just couldnt understand why I hadnt seen more of these around.
This one is actually ex Tony Barto's collection, and is probably the same one Frank refers to.

L/16 Spange
Hello all,
I thought the L/16 spange with raised letters was to be thought a reproduction. Please let me know either way. I have had TWO of these in my collection.
