              I've seen a picture of a Klein post-war Diamonds set via Dietrich. Not the same as Huesken's.

              I requested a detailed photo of the reverse of Huesken's Diamonds, and I'll post it when I get it.

                Whoever buys this for more than $ 500.- must have more money than brains. That Mr. Huesken offers this the way he does is either a testament to his extrem lack of knowledge of the subject or just an extremely blatant attempt to make some money.

                The remark, that "an identical example awarded to Lent is in the Rastatt Museum" is of course not true. The Lent-Diamonds (courtesy Heinz Schaffer via Forman) have a completely different look, i.e.,a re not identical. The main reason being they are original, which the set at Huesken's site is certainly not.

                And that is not an assumption or opinion, that is a proofeable fact!

                  Whatever this is, it is certainly very well made
                  Having oncw worked for Cartier I can see the quality of workmanship.
                  Just look at the crispness of the hilts and what appears to be baguette cut stones...even diamonds.
                  The finish and overall quality is unmistakable and a very very good copy, if copy it is.
                  Dont just write it off as rubbish cos it clearly aint!

                        I agree with the quality. BUT, "Who" is making these ? It has to be a jeweler like Klein. I say "LIKE" Klein. "Maybe" they made these postwar?? Tom

                            I just received a reply from Mr. Huesken, after requesting a scan of the reverse.

                            His reply was, "Sorry, we don't send more pictures of this item".

                            At least he had the courtesy of a quick reply.

                            Thanks for your pics, Chen. Interesting how the circle surrounding the "K" has been conveniently cut off when it was stamped.

                              It appears to me..............that Chen's Diamonds is not the same piece that Huesken has for offer. Very similar, possibly by the same maker? The facetted border of the hand guards of the swords.............the "dots" at the hilt....the right-side join of the blade to the Oaks.

                              Am I correct? Where is the source for your photos, Chen?
