My first Deschler EKII set of the hoard came from the SOS many years ago. I bartered with a very nice German lady for it when her husband left the table for a period of time. Since that time I have owned six sets, with as many as five in possession at one time. I've sold all but one set, and I believe I found this last set (pictured here) from our estand, it being my newest hoard acquisition. This particular cross has the darkest patina than any of the others. Hope you enjoy the photos...

Very nice pieces! I love the War Merit Cross 1st Class, looks brand new!
The EKII is nice, I love that one as well!

Here's a photo of the five I owned before buying the one in the previous post. With the five is a marked Deschler that was not part of the hoard. All five had packets, ribbons and tissue as the cross in the previous post. Two of the five looked new just like the KVKI...

It's to bad that you got rid of all but one but as with all of us collections sometimes change. From the pictures I have seen of the boxes they were found in the Deschler Factory it looks like some were nicer then others with the storage conditions of being stored in the attic.
