Thanks Carsten had this one. Saw it was a great opportunity to get a pre LDO Deumer. Isn't the workmanship just amazing? It's so detailed on such a small piece. The sword hilts and eagles really must have taken some effort to finish.

Nice to get that kind of feedback after pulling the trigger on a purchase like this.

What really got me was these photos are LARGE compared to this delicate small badge. So blowing it up like this and enjoying the detail is really something. Not, I have to say, like an FLL Pilot. The bigger those get they just don't get much better looking and yes as a collector I fully understand the absolute need to have an example of as many as you can, but you can have your favorites.
