EK1 FZ with catch opening to the left

I think I know only two makers which built the catch opening to the left ;-)
Fritz Zimmermann and Rettenmaier! Do you know more maker?

Very nice. Most FZ6 EK1 catches open left I think.

5tefan, only some of your photos are showing up. In the brass core thread and now in this one I keep seeing the message in a white box Pic - Upload.de Site don't allowed. The shot I want to see is of the catch opening to the left and I all I can see is a nice front shot.

Very very nice ,still in its full glory nice to see like this.I don't think I would have ever noticed a left hand catch before seeing this and you pointing it out.

Well 5fetan -
- other makers left opening catches ... I have seen a few others over the years ... but only going by memory now as I lost the pictures I had on them - W&L , S&L and L/56 ???? ...
Something like that , but one of them had a re-attached catch .... can not remember which one any more .... and may not qualify , as it is not factory done - which I think are the only ones you are interested in .
Left facing catches are so rare and I can only guess they are `errors` in mounting -- as such an un-important` item it should not matter at all - an unwritten law maybe .
All I could find so far is one Ben B has or had at one time . A straight 9 Schinkel EK1 .
