I was wondering if these two medals are original... or some post war... fakes.

I assume they are too good to be true. These are the only photos I have.

named to two different people, both "SS".

Hmmm, 1944 is a bit late in the war for that type of Iron Cross IMHO... Those types were awarded early in the conflict...
