Blue case of issue for EK1

Hello everyone,

I have not had one for ages so wanted to share some pictures.
I suppose they must be a lot rarer than the green ones. Any statistics out there?

I've only ever had one and it held a 26 marked EK1 1914.

I think the blue cases are a bit harder to find than the green ones . There are even color shade differences between the green and blue ... lighter to darker color of each . Besides that lids with border and without .
Even the embossed lid cross varies from type in size .... note the black case has a bit smaller silver cross than the dark blue case .... a few variations on the outside and inside .
Yours is a lighter blue than mine .... without the lid line . The dark greenish-black ones often get missed and are sold as black .
