Order Of German Eagle Medal Of Merit Without Swords

    Hello,

I came across this Order Of German Eagle Medal Of Merit Without Swords and wanted to check with everyone here about authenticity and what to look for with these. I have no knowledge of these so I was hoping to get some opinions.

Thanks! The $160 seems pretty cheap from the dealer I listed below

I know notning about these medals, but I do like the look/design of this serie.
But if the one you link, is an original, then it seems like a really good price.
And the price makes me Think that it is not original.

But wait for others to comment.

His medal is original but is a 1943 model at the end of the conflict in category bronze, is made of zinc and must have the marking in the ring "30", has lost the color bath bronze of origin. The normal price of this medal is 160 - €200.

I have one made of silver of the version of 1937 for sale in this forum:

in 835 silver medals have a value much higher, are more difficult to find and are much more beautiful.

I too think the medal is original based on the photos...more up close shots would be helpful to be sure.

The price range is a little low, but not out of line for this award in zinc. For market conditions today it is probably appropriately priced.

Would be a good pick up for you...but again, check that the ribbon ring is marked 30.

              Cheers,

              Glen

Looks OK to me, but as it has lost all its original colour, I wouldn´t buy it at all.
