The RK is a Souval repro, the seller says so clearly. The question is wether the "Rudel" signature on the ribbon is real and the dedication inside the case "Mit den besten Grüßen, Hans Ulrich Rudel. Wien 22.VI.58" (With best wishes, Hans Ulrich Rudel, Wien 22. July 58). Or is it just another trick to upgrade a Souval package.
The seller also hints that the case might be pre-45.

Rudel's postwar signature showed some loss from his pre-injury signature. Check Charles Hamilton's great works on Third Reich Signatures. Although everyone's an expert now and the books of old are considered worthless, Hamilton's books will always be the one and done solution to finding great examples of signatures from this period. Hamilton is now deceased.

Dietrich, my first impression when I saw this was how could this be done with an 'ink pen' from 1958! The 'nib' wouldn't do well on the silk or cotton material and the ink would surely run...

Looks more like it was done with a Sharpie!

Very conincidently, the same day the package was signed, Rudel was in Vienna to give the last honors to his comrade Walter Nowotny, leaving the attached note.
Nearly the same text, but definetely different handwriting, and the same date. Rudel was busy this day ...

The set of images are both on flat surfaces. No baseball signatures here to explain away leaning the wrong direction.
