EKII - Fritz Zimmerman ?

Hello, I've been prowling the web seeking my next buy and I came across this marked example by Fritz Zimmermann at a reasonable price. However I'm having difficulty seeing much that is Zimmermannish about it. I've spent the last couple of hours looking at previously posted Zimmermans and I'm not seeing the usual 'chunky' beading, I've not seen the makers mark stamped longways before and I'm curious about the almost wood like grainy finish on the reverse.
Please can someone out there post their opinions of this cross ?
