    EK1 early Deumer heavily vaulted

    Here is my early Deumer heavily vaulted, and please see the cross in wear, you can feel the cross on his uniforms is vaulted ! the EKII is Schinkle type!

        nice hand vaulted Deumer. Is it 1914 Ekii ribbon on uniform? What kind of Shooting Award it is?

          Plaut, are you sure it is hand vaulted cross, because it was made so perfessonal and symmetrical.

          it seems the EKII mounted on the 1914 ribbon but i am not sure.

          from his document, the shooting award is Schutzenabzeichen 1. Klasse, not the higher class.

            Hi Cole,

            I have / had few unmarked and LDO marked Deumers and in my opinion it were hand vaulted - corners of frame close to swaz are not stick to the core.

              Yes Cole ... that Deumer is definately hand vaulted and not factory done .

                And the cross arm profiles are straight, on hand vaulted, for the factory domed cross the intire cross profile is "domed" like thi beautiful cross:

                IMHO

                But the cross is indeed a very "combat" one and very desiderable.
