Hello again, this is the other EKII I picked up earlier this week.
It's a marked 52 by Gottlieb & Wagner. I'm confident it's okay as I see the distinctive 3 in the 1813 and the what looks to me like a smaller looking second 9 in the 1939, it also has the chipped paint on the core which I have observed in other examples albeit to a lesser degree. Once again this cross is far from in the greatest condition but by golly it has character !
Anyway here's the pics.
It seems to me that some 52s have a flaw in the beading on the top 3 o'clock arm just after the angle where it meets the 12 o'clock arm. In the next pic you can see the flaw on the first 4 beads. I would be interested to hear if anyone else has a 52 with a similar flaw.
