        is that paint coming up on the frame? Please take a photo from an angle showing this.
        I´m sure the cross is original.

            Thanks for the comments. I did have a close look at it and it looks to me like it is dirt, not paint. It does not appear to have been re-painted or even touched up but i am no specialist. It is a wet and grey miserable day here and the light is too bad for any good close up photos. I may try in a few days time...

              If anybody is interested, it is 4.43 cm accross and an arm width of about 2.6cm...and it rattles!

                  I have just noticed something strange on the top of the frame, swastika side only. A type of recess, maybe to indicate where the ring should be placed.... Are yours similar?
