Is this a genuine Paul Meybauer EK1?

    Hi Guys,

I am thinking of buying this EK1 - pin marked L/13 - Paul Meybauer - but I am really not sure whether it's good. It looks a bit 'new' to me or am I being paranoid? I will be very grateful if anyone can confirm whether it's a good one or not.

    Many thanks,

    Best regards, Guy

Boy that's a tough one. I'd want more photos before buying it. Some things look good and some things raise a flag, but it's not a fake I've seen before.
    Best regards,

to me - with these pix - it looks like a 1-piece casting based on a Godet or Zimmerman.

The hardware looks a little suspicous to me as well, especially the hinge. As the others have said, better shots of the hardware would be more helpful here.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

            I don't like it ... front looks like a cast-copy .... hardware looks unconvincing ....
