new guy with iron cross questions

Got a box from my mom with ww2 stuff in it the my grandfather, he brought back from the war, the item that stands out to me is a iron cross, from my investigations on line i have come up with, L52 Zimmerman(isn't there 2?), and it is a first class, oh and it has the box, with all the right marking

I can do that, but i have no idea of a value?, I've looked online and price ranges from 200- to 1600- that a big gap

Thanks for the info, I have to say it was alot of fun looking into history of the iron cross, I've always been fascinated by ww2, i even own a 1947 ford willys, that sits on a 1943 military frame, and is painted to look like one from ww2, it's a rock crawler, with a v8
