      Michael:

How can you refer to that piece of Crap as a 'nice' Souval 'KC' ?

That has a terrible 'cutting' job on the frame....Especially across the top! That is a pretty crappy job done on the frame 'ribbing' on the left & right arms of the cross & the finish is....I can't use the word here so, I'll just say "bad".

A question for you....Why would you buy something this bad?

      Ron.

Hi Ron, thank you for your opinion...I can live with it very well. But this was not the question. Can you help with the case?

I would assume this case to be a more "luxury version".
I've seen similar type cases but with only a push button.

                Yes, a Souval case

Yes, This Exact type case was sold by Souval ! I visited the Souval shop in the 70's, and I saw both types for sale (with Cross) push button & this more fancy closure set up. I purchased one with the push button (25 Austrian Schillings back then...about $18.00 US. Hope this helps. Tom

                      Michael

As long as the cross and case make you happy then that's all that matters.
Don't let the unfriendly negative comments of some discourage you from collecting.

                      Best of luck.

Hi Ken, thank you very much for your kind words.

No problem. Everybody collect what he wants.

If somebody has more of this "crap" please PM me. I am sure to find a place in my collection

Nothing unfriendly in my comment, but a fake is a fake and - compared to the real thing! – fakes are crap! IMO.
