Knight's Cross ribbon, for opinions please

I got this as part of a collection I recently bought, a purportedly original neck ribbon for the Knight's Cross with hand-sewn button holes for attachment to a uniform collar. I understand it may be impossible to say with certainty when this piece was stitched up this way, but is the ribbon, at least, original? If this is good In will sell it; any suggestion of a reasonable E-Stand price would be appreciated.

the ribbon looks good ,but needlework for me not

It, the needle work, looks too new. It appears never to have been worn in this configuration. I wonder what the story is?
