Thats a early Deschler. Do you know to whom it belonged or where it came from?

I got it from a family estate, there are other badges were there (EK1, Infantry ...).

Looks to me like the centre plate with swaz was removed when it was denazified and another disk was put in its place. The wreath is not sitting on top of the new disk, but covering its edges. That's a very neat job on the EKI as well.

i also miss the holes from the swatiska!
IMO the plate with the holes for the swatiska
is completely changed. There is another plate supplemented.
I think the unusual splints on the backside hold the new plate
                      on the ground plate.

So the plate including Swatiska is changed IMO!

                      kind regards
