    ritterkreuz Klein & Quenzer

    Hello
I propose in your opinion this knight's cross. I believe to recognize a model made by Klein and Quenzer. The weight is 28,7 grams.
    It is authentic?
    Thank you in advance.
    Regards

It does not look from these photos like a real K&Q to me.

Thank God, it is not mine: the owner wants to sell it... but not to me now.

I've not seen a fake like this before. Is this one of the central European ones?

Not original; however, a very convincing fake to the untrained eye. The double loop should not fit through the eyelet on a K&Q among other things. -Ger

I think they are generally referred to as "Latvian Fakes", been around a few years

That's the name. The width of the flanges is too narrow, but apart from that one of these could fool plenty of people. It looks to be well made as far as fakes go.

They are unfortunately convincing, but not for a Klien and Quenzer
