RK Ribbon Authenticity Question...

Received this RK ribbon sometime ago with a group of other items.

It passes black light (no glow), measures apprx. 41mm wide, is apprx. 26" long & is a non-synthetic material.

Also, it appears to have had an RK or award hanging from it in the middle at one time.

How can I tell if it's original or not?

Are there any sure signs in material or production technique?

And last what's the value of such a piece if it were to prove to be original?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks ok to me on the photos. Touching and handling the ribbon would be the best. That is the rare 40mm in width ribbon? Kai Winkler wants 750 Euro for a ribbon that is shorter than yours.

Recently there were 2 ribbons on sale on estand.

Another one sold for 200$ and another one didn't sold for 400$.

Peter- It measures just a hair over 40mm wide, so maybe it is the rarer type.

Anbybody else have any input or ways to be sure?
