    help on 3/4 ring RK!!!

    Hi friends,

I have the opportunity to buy such a rare KC, I would like to ask you for facts I have to check (seller dont wants to make pics of it, not a red flag, he is just a bit a "no net friend").

I saw it personally, and it looks really stunning.

Here is, what I know from it:
    - not magnetic
    - ring is in 3/4 shape
    - "1939" is small and thin like i know it from this type.

What I would ask you for:
    - weight and dimensions it should have
    - are the 3/4 ones all not magnetic?
    - are there well known, good copys of this style out actually?
    - any other details I should have to look for.
    - worth for a condition "1-" item.

    Thanks a lot for help!!!

I know people will want to look at it. Can you get front on photos of the front and the back?

I will not get any photos from him, unfortunately. That is not a red flag, I know him well, he is not a collector, but an antique dealer who not bwants that his stuff will be on the net.
I will have to drive to him the next days and compare, measure and weight it. I will have to make my descision there, based on what I find out at my observations.

There's an example here http://www.emedals.com/collectors-ga...ron-cross-1939 with weights, dimensions, an unusual 800 mark an about $10,000 too much on the price tag...

You do realize you don't have to splash the photos all over the Internet to get private and personal feedback from an experienced member here right?

I dont have the Maerz book here, would one be so kind to tell the weight and the measurements of an unmarked 3/4 one.
