A Few Deumer Crosses For Reference

Hello to all,
Figured that I would post some obverse views of these Deumer Crosses, all of which are still attached to a Deumer Sales Sample Board.

1) Here is an almost mint condition EKII by Deumer. It still retains a mirror-like, polished finish on the frame, and a frosted, beaded rim. There is no maker marking on the suspension ring.

2) Here is a 1939 Spange to the 1914 EKII. This piece is zinc and it has lost it's finish. It is stamped 'L/11' on the reverse.

3) A 1939 KVKI with Swords by Deumer. This is a later war production piece in zinc, and it has also lost most of it's finish. Quite typical for these zinc pieces. It is stamped on the reverse with a '3' in a square.

4) This KVKI w/o Swords is a later war piece in zinc, having only traces of the silver finish remaining. It is stamped on the reverse with a '3'.

5) A 1939 KVKII with Swords by Deumer. This is also a later production piece made of zinc. A good amount of the bronze wash is still present on this example, although it looks mostly gray in the photo. There is no maker marking on the suspension ring.

6) An early-quality 1939 War Merit Medal by Deumer. No zinc in this one. It is solid bronze. There is no marking on the suspension ring.
