Is a First class War Merit Cross without pin-back possible?

I found yet another 1st class war merit cross without the pin-back, and instead a loop for a ribbon. Is this a possible combination or is it a bad fake?

Can it be that it is a 2nd class but the color has changed into silver over time?

all medals are good.
From left; War merit cross second calss w/o swords in zink, the bronze wash is gone. Wrong ribbon.
Iron cross, original but with wrong ribbon.
War merit cross second class with swords, correct ribbon.

It looks like someone swapped the KvK ribbon with something else and put it on the EKII
