EK 2 opinions please

Hi Guys,
Is this a good one?
There is a marking in the ring attached to the cross, but I can't find out what it is.
Any suggestions?

I think you have a maker 24 there ! That mark on the jump ring is common with this maker

Nice shot : wish mine would turn out that good .

The mark on the jump ring is not the PZK number 24 .
In this case you have the 'acorn' symble , one of a few one does find . The ribbon ring is where you would find the 24 if it was marked - this one is not .
The core on this one is nice . Many have rust problems .

Maker '24' used several different marks including 'X' and the acorn you have there. To the best of my knowledge they are not known on any other maker from this period (but you do sometimes see 'X' and 'T' on WWI EKIIs from maker 'R').
