I am thinking about buying this KVK1 - but I am not sure about the hardware. I would be very grateful for your views. Is it original?

If they could get the hardware right collectors would be in real trouble.

If I were you I would look a little longer for a textbook KVKI. This hybrid raises too many red flags.

It wants to be a Deumer boxed 3 but as stated the hardware is suspect.

You're right, it does. But, down the road when you've decided to part with it no one will want it because of the odd hardware. If you invest in good textbook collectibles you'll always get plenty of buyers when it comes time to sell to upgrade, or whatever.
