Can't help it, but it really hurts every time I see a nice ek mutulated like this...I know it's a part of history as well, but I will never get used to it..........

Thanks Jon, love Ed Roth's hybrid of WW1 and WW2 German stuff mixed up with surf culture, what a nut that guy was! No way to get away with that nowadays...

And yes, Ben, it really is a shame about these. When I first started collecting EKs I was all over the place, hadn't found my niche yet... but I did know I'd never be able to afford the minty ones. Relics caught my interest but once I found about about denazifed awards, well, that was it!

Please note the RK version of the surf cross on the left and the mere Second Class on the right. There's plenty of variations in surf crosses too!
