                    Actually, I cannot imagine the person who bought this either a) having collected ANYTHING Third Reich, or b) caring that it is a reproduction. It seems to me that this was purchased by someone looking for something "cool" (not "real") to put on their shelf. Sort of like the person who buys a fake suit of armor for $3000. Only an idiot would believe in a suit of armor, costing 1% of its value, if real. Now, if it'd gone for $15,000 then yes ... the adage about the fool would apply.
