    Opinions needed on Spange

I would be grateful for opinions on this Spange. I have never had the opportunity of looking at a genuine example in hand, but to my inexperienced eye it looks from the reverse as if it may not be genuine. It is unmarked and comes in a case. I attach some photographs.
    Thanks,
    Peter.

          Thanks Giel,
The Reverse looked a bit suspect to me, but I have very little experience of these.
          Thanks,
          Peter.

Peter, if the pin is straight and not bent as Mayer does, then it is in all possibilities a Floch fake when combined with a low setting 1939 on the front. Jim

Not sure I understand what you mean here Jim. We're talking about Spangen right? I don't think the date sits any lower on a Floch than on originals.

You can distinguish a Floch fake because the design of the bird is totally different from any original.
              Best regards,

                  Thanks, Jim, Trevor and Robert,
I will ascertain if the pin is straight or bent.
