    Zimmerman 3/4 Ring Rounder!

Now that I have everyone's attention

Here's an unusual example for discussion...awarded to Wilfred Richter, SS-TK, March 1942.

From my view it looks like a 3/4 ring.
The inner corners are rounded (finishing?).
Is it my eyes, or does the ribbon loop have that "Zimmerman" oval appearance?

to me it looks like a simple EK2 conversion with the suspension ring twisted because the ring is not centered above the swaz, but that would ruin the fun for you...

            Man, you guys are GOOD!
The off-centre ring is the big giveaway.
The ribbon loop appears to be hand-made (single loop), and I'd say the ribbon is EKII width.
How did you guys beat ol' Dave to the punch???

P.S. Proof that boxes of RK's weren't kicking around in storage at the Demjansk pocket
