How is the market currently?

Hi guys,

I'm just wondering how the market is for sellers at the minute? I have a very nice boxed EK1 and was wondering if now is a good time to sell it?

Depends

Depends on Condition and Asking Price. Or that old Realty Mantra of Location, location, location. Seems like your side of the pond you are able to get more. But when I check numerous dealers sites I still see inventory that for the most part hasn't changed in two or more years.

I bought it in 2005 to replace another article of German war history we found amongst my Grandads things, a Krieghoff Luger, which being illegal to own here meant I had to sell it to a foreign collector. I bought the EK1 with some of the money from the sale.

An approx value would be appreciated.

Why not just put it for sale for your best price and see if someone grabs it?

Really? Thanks for the heads up. I'm not an active collector so I don't keep track of the market, it was more a purchase to replace an heirloom and has just been sat with my other medals, thought I would test the water.

In a nutshell mate its just a very nice almost minty Klein & Quenzer,,I sold one similar recently and got 275eu I think but ive the memory of a goldfish....

Well I could keep it, but like I say I'm not a collector it was more of an heirloom replacement, but I've recently inherited family medals which obviously have a lot more sentimental value than this so I thought it would be best to pass it on to someone who'd appreciate it more.

Thanks for all the comments, I'll get some better pictures with a better camera and put it up for sale.
