Obverse
I'm seeing things or on your first post, the top photo of the obverse has the nine in 1939 lower then the other numerals. Either that or pics too fuzzy.

To me, it looks like there's artificial lighting coming from at least 2 directions, casting shadows all over the cross. Good pix with better (or less, maybe) lighting might help.

It looks very wierd. Could it have been de-nazified? And this is an attempt to re-
nazifi it? The swaz looks very thick.
The frame is a bit gritty, but could be a '55'.
