    Thanks for the response. I've read the threads. So many times over the years that my eyes hurt. I guess with any collector there is a comfort level with certain items, and at least for me personally, I don't have that comfort level with this particular type of RK. I guess the debate will continue on these crosses.

    Cheers Russel,

    believer or non-believer they are a marathon to get through that is for sure

    The interesting thing is, it has not gone away or settled down. One long thread after another about them. It spells out that some sort of breach of natural justice has occurred when it comes to these. If it had not then this one would have been laid to rest long ago.

    As Dietrich, Leroy and others have stated we can only hope that the information to solve it will eventually emerge. Just like it has for the "4/ 800" & "4/ 935"

    Chris

      The price of anything is nothing more than "an offer to all the world, an invitation to treat" .

      I have seen original items sell for low prices and non-original items sell for high prices ( & vice-versa ) from both informed and un-informed sellers.

      All a case of being in the right place at the right time and how good your knowledge is plus what is accepted or not accepted over time,

            Chris, you asked an interesting question, so please allow me to ask this question.

            1) If Juncker quit using zinc cores in 1940, then why would S&L make a zinc core after then to compete with Juncker, and why are they only found in B frame crosses?

              Well Alikn,

              if it is money that you want out of all of this then;

              "buy when everybody is selling and sell when everybody is buying"

              Never worked for me however, because I tend to collect out of passion for what I collect but I can not complain because I have had more than my fair share of success.

              Who knows on my high quality, zinc cored, type B for sure ? but I am enjoying the potential that my possible "Deumer" Oaks and swords hold and I got them a similar way.

              Sometimes you win and sometimes you don't but the future today often goes to those who are bold enough to give it a go,

              Chris
